Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on 31 August 2023. This is revealed in a new gameplay trailer, which also directly reveals an antagonist – the Mindflayers are not the only ones who want to get at our heroes! The video also shows the tactical turn-based battles in which the environment plays an important role, similar to Divinity: Original Sin 2, the last game by developer Larian.
The role-playing game has been available as Early Access since 2020 and has already gathered an enthusiastic fan community. So far, however, only the first of a total of three story acts was playable, which is already a good 20 hours long. In the course of the past years, more races and classes were added, such as druids and bards.
In Baldur’s Gate 3 there are countless ways to solve quests or fight battles. The dozens of spells alone give you plenty of freedom to develop your very own tactics.
