The first season of the League of Legends series was a huge success. It is now clear when the adventures of Vi and Jinx will continue

It’s no big surprise that Arcane will continue. The Netflix series set in the League of Legends universe won over both LoL fans and critics with season 1, so it was only a matter of time before a sequel was announced.

Now we know when season 2 of Arcane will start. The bad news: Unfortunately, you’ll have to sleep more than a few more times. It’s not due until November 2024. That would be a whopping three years between seasons 1 and 2, but as we all know, good things take time.

What is already known about Arcane – Season 2?

There is not much confirmed information about Season 2. A first teaser trailer was released two years ago, shortly after the start of the first season. It showed that other well-known League of Legends champions will probably make an appearance in the sequel and that the state of Noxus could play an important role.

It has also been confirmed that the voice actors from season 1 are still on board This should be particularly good news for fans of the original English version. So fans won’t have to do without Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx, Katie Leung as Caitlyn and other familiar voices

Keyword fans: They are both delighted and disappointed by the announcement of the release date for season 2. (On Reddit) for example, the long period between seasons 1 and 2 is seen as a good sign of the high quality of the new episodes, and many are simply rejoicing at the good news.

On the other hand, some only realize afterwards that it really says November 2024 and not 2023. Or to put it in the philosophical words of Reddit user (Kraddri

I literally thought: Shit, the wrong November.

But I know you shouldn’t rush things. Suppress the urge.

What do you think of Arcane? Did you like season 1 of the Netflix series as much as many LoL fans did back then, or did you just not get on with it? If so, can you tell us what bothered you about it? What are your hopes and wishes for season 2? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
