Among Us struck a chord in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, connecting many people with a need for lightheartedness and social interaction with its unique concept. On Steam alone, a record of almost 450,000 concurrent players was set in September 2020.
Other games followed suit, and the game concept has already been released in 3D versions. Now the original is also taking this step with Among Us 3D
The familiar game concept is joined by a built-in proximity voice chat, new mini-games, and usable skills that you can earn for completing tasks. The trailer shows, for example, a scan that briefly reveals the other players on the map.
Among Us 3D is scheduled for release on May 6, 2025, on Steam. The price is currently unknown.
