How big is the download? The patch size differs depending on the platform.

  • PlayStation 4: 2,4 GB
  • PlayStation 5: 2,5 GB
  • Xbox Eins: 5,7 GB
  • Xbox Serie X/S: 6,3 GB

The most important changes of update 1.1.0

New content: The announced seasonal event “Yule Festival” is already in the patch. Yule or Jul is the Germanic festival at the winter solstice, from which the Christian Christmas has developed. In AC Valhalla, you can spend the holidays the Viking way.

During the time-limited event, there will be new quests and rewards for you; Ubsioft will announce concrete information shortly.

Balancing: The patch has made significant changes to the NPC power levels. From now on, the level of your enemies will be a maximum of 51 levels below Eivor’s, and such enemies will be marked in green. World bosses, on the other hand, now have the same power level as the player if you have a higher level than the base level of the boss. This also applies to alpha animals and zealots.

Lots of bug fixes and more stability: In the patch notes you can find a lot of fixed glitches and quest bugs. For example, you should now encounter significantly fewer graphics bugs and get stuck on objects less often.

Since the release, Ubisoft has already released several patches that are supposed to address the many technical problems – the last update 1.0.4, however, had to take a lot of player criticism. Because of the many bugs, which even made some quests unsolvable, we devalued AC Valhalla by five points in our test.
