Sanderson’s role-playing game is one of the most successful Kickstarter projects of all time. Now you can actually buy the first books of his new role-playing game.

Leave it to a man like Brandon Sanderson to kick off the most successful pen-and-paper crowdfunding campaign of all time. The fantasy grandmaster often manages to mobilize the masses via Kickstarter, and he has done so once again with his new role-playing game.

The Cosmere RPG was announced last year and had an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, raising a whopping $15 million. The team could have easily used that money to develop a PC role-playing game.

In any case, all stretch goals were achieved in this way.

Immerse yourself in the world of Cosmere now

Brandon Sanderson is known for churning out high-quality fantasy books. Although he focuses on different series and worlds, they all belong to a larger universe.
This universe is called Cosmere, which is also the name of his pen-and-paper role-playing game. The first volumes of the role-playing game were released on July 23 on DriveThruRPG. There you will find PDF versions of the role-playing game volumes as well as VTT versions for Roll20 or Demiplane. These are digital rulebooks that have been integrated into these game interfaces.

The following books about the Cosmere RPG have been released so far:

Much more to come

As mentioned, these are just the first releases of Brandon Sanderson’s role-playing game. The campaign was so successful that tons of stuff is being produced for it. In addition to Stormlight, there are plans for books set in the world of Mistborn. This book series is set in a different world called Scadrial.

In addition, there will be tons of physical merchandise that is not yet available. This includes hardcover editions of the already known volumes, as well as condition cards, miniatures, and dice bags.
