In Fortnite you can now unlock the Haven Masks. But for some of them you also have to catch fish. We’ll show you how to do that.

With the update 19.20. Haven’s masks were added. In another article we have already listed what you have to do for which mask and how many feathers they cost. Here we want to help you to get the mask for which you have to fish.

Catch fish

Haven is a skin but also an NPC in Fortnite and recently started offering their masks. You can unlock these, but you always have to complete some tasks and collect feathers to do so. For some of the Haven masks, you also have to fish.

This means, of course, that you need a fishing rod. This can always be found on the ground. Once you have collected the item, there is not much left to do.

Species of fish

To unlock the mask “Midnight Cat”, you have to catch 20 fish. So you just have to go to any river or lake and start fishing there. But for other masks, such as the “Revived Cat”, specific fish must be caught.

There are different types of fish in Fortnite, such as the shield fish, jellyfish and chili fish. So the chili fish include the volcano, drift, white spot, southern and sky blue chili fish.

Where to find which fish?

Depending on what you are looking for, you will then also have to go to the respective region where the fish can be found. For the “Revived Cat” you need one chili fish, one shield fish and one jellyfish. However, as it doesn’t matter which specific fish you fish for and it only has to match the species, you can fish for them anywhere on the map and you will find them.

Once you have collected a fish from each species, you can finally unlock the mask. If you would like to complete more tasks for masks now, you can do so here.
