According to a new leak, Epic Games is working on claws that will soon be playable as a mythical melee weapon in Fortnite. This is what we can expect.
Data miner HYPEX has revealed on his Twitter that Epic Games may be working on a new mythic melee weapon reminiscent of Wolverine’s claws.
Currently, weapons from past chapters, such as the prehistoric bows, are reappearing in Fortnite for a short time. Soon, a familiar melee weapon could also reappear on the island. This is said to resemble Wolverine’s claws, which were available in Chapter 2: Season 4.
The new claws will probably have the following stats:
- Schad points on enemies: 25/65
- damage points to buildings: 50/250
- Spin Attack Cooldown: 8 seconds
- Chargeable Electric Attack
- Boost for jumps
Epic are working on a Mythic with blades that is kinda similar to Wolverine’s, here are the stats:
– Has a charge attack, possibly electric
– Minor Attack damage: 25 (50 to builds)
– Major Attack damage: 65 (250 to builds)
– Spin Attack cooldown: 8s

Epic has not yet given any details about a possible implementation. Further information on the possibly planned mythical weapon will therefore probably only reach us with the next major Fortnite update on 1 March.
