New details about the release date for Fortnite chapter 2 season 2 and more information about the new physics engine.

The Epic Games team has released new details on Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. It is expected to be released on Thursday, February 20. After the first season, which started in October 2019, was surprisingly extended, fans can now breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to the new content. What exactly the new season brings with it, is not yet revealed. But before the end of Season 1, players will get new bonus challenges and a two-week event that will probably start at the beginning of February.

Test run for new physics engine
With the update V.11.50 at the beginning of February comes also the change to the physics system “Chaos” of the Unreal Engine. The developers see a lot of potential in the new technology, but first they want to make sure that Fortnite continues to play like Fortnite. Therefore the tests start with a small group of players to prevent possible problems at the beginning of the implementation.
