FIFA 22 TOTY: All “Team of the Year” nominees at a glance (UPDATE)

The Team of the Year in FIFA Ultimate Team is about to be voted. Here you can find out about the nominated world class footballers.

Every year FUT players vote for the Team of the Year (TOTY) in FIFA. Once again in 2022, the best players who have excelled in real-world football in 2021 are up for a vote. The TOTY represents an important aspect of FIFA 22’s Lootbox-based game mode, as these players sometimes have the highest ratings in the entire game due to powerful stat boosts.

Where are the rest of the nominations? On 9 January 2022, the nominated defenders and goalkeepers will be announced, but not until after 5pm. We will add them here as early as possible on 10 January 2022!

When does the voting for the Team of the Year start?

Voting will run from 10 January 2022 at 17:00 until 18 January 2022 at 08:59. You can vote for your favourite team during this period on the (official TOTY website).

Which players are nominated for the TOTY?

EA Sports reveals the nominated athletes in tidbits, sorted by position. On Friday, the developers announced the strikers, followed by the midfielders on Saturday and on Sunday it’s the turn of the defenders and goalkeepers.
