Another matchday is history and it is slowly becoming apparent which teams have the longer leverage in the final sprint.

TOTW 31 could feature some big names. Ronaldo has a good chance of a place in TOTW after his hat-trick. Bundesliga star Erling Haaland could finally secure his first Inform. That and much more could be waiting for you in the packs as early as Wednesday.

Prediction for TOTW 31

Top candidates for week 31

  • Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United, Portugal) – 93
  • Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund, Norway) – 89
  • Gerard Moreno (Villarreal CF, Spain) – 88
  • Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan, Argentina) – 88

After the negative headlines about Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese turned Old Trafford into his own stage again on Saturday. Against Norwich City, he completed his sixtieth career hat-trick in the end to give Manchester United a narrow 3-2 win. With direct rivals Tottenham and Arsenal both failing to score at the weekend, Ralf Rangnick’s side were able to make up some ground. The now 37-year-old striker once again played a big part and could celebrate his second Inform in TOTW 31.

Dortmund finally got the frustration off their chest after the defeat against RB Leipzig. VfL Wolfsburg felt the effects of this in the form of six goals conceded and in the end could hardly counteract anything (final score 6:1). Tom Alexander Rothe celebrated his Bundesliga debut for the Black and Yellows and scored the first goal of the game. Erling Haaland also finally scored again and secured a total of three scorer points. For this reason, the Norwegian is in a good position for his first appearance in FIFA 22.

At the Spanish team Villareal plays a veteran almost as good as Cristiano Ronaldo. The Spaniard Gerard Moreno puts in a good performance on the pitch in almost every game. On Saturday, the 30-year-old finally got his reward again, scoring a goal and providing an assist in a 2-1 away win over Getafe. In addition to a solid seventh place in the league, the team is not doing too badly in the Champions League either.

In Italy, Inter Milan still have the championship in their own hands. If they win all their remaining games without dropping a point, Simone Inzaghi’s team will deservedly be crowned champions. With the 3:1 victory against Spezia, they have already taken a first step towards the title. The Argentinian Lautaro Martínez stood out with two goals and made a big contribution to Inter’s victory. He could thus secure his third Inform on Wednesday.
