Yesterday’s Diablo livestream not only introduced the 1st Season for Diablo 4 but also introduced a new class. The first new one in 10 years! But unfortunately not for the main game, which was released in June, but for the digital spin-off Diablo Immortal. The Blood Knight is a cool mixture of paladin, crusader and necromancer, but in vampire form. Hopefully the brand Blizzard s fan community won’t tear itself apart for this announcement. After all, the Blood Knight may still appear as an additional character in the main series at some point.

This is the Blood Knight in Diablo Immortal

As the newest class in Diablo Immortal the Blood Knight has a number of special features that set him apart from the other classes, but fit seamlessly into the gritty fantasy Diablo world.

As hybrid melee class the Blood Knights master a unique martial art. They devour the life force of their enemies, hold them at bay with summoned shadows and break all resistance with their venerable polearms. With skills such as Shadow Slice, Bat Swarm, Blood Suck and Monstrosity, Blood Knights use their distinctive fighting skills to deal devastating blows, steal life energy and transform into the monsters that lurk deep within. A colourful mix of powerful skills, then, perfectly suited to the dark vampire class fantasy of the Blood Knight in Diablo.

More info about the Blood Knight can be found in the official (Blogpost).
