a mod is now available for free download that makes Night City and its inhabitants shine in new splendour.
Shiny as Chrome
What kind of mod are we talking about? The modder Halk Hogan has reworked almost all game textures in the course of his project. From the asphalt to the trees to the objects lying around, the mod gives the game world of Cyberpunk 2077 a sharper look. This will only cost you a little performance in the end.
By the way, the mod comes with two different settings: With the Ultra Quality version
you get all textures in the best possible quality if you want to play Cyberpunk 2077 in 1440p and 4K resolution. TheBalanced version
doesn’t look quite as crisp, but won’t strain your VRAM too much in the meantime.

Halk Hogan is no stranger to unofficial graphics upgrades for CD Projekt role-playing games, by the way. The modder also already provided The Witcher 3 with HD textures, which were then even implemented in the NextGen update 
What else is happening in Cyberpunk 2077
The first and only story DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, is scheduled for release sometime in 2023. Besides Keanu Reeves, it also features Idris Elba by the way! And although the release of Phantom Liberty is still a long time coming, the expansion already beats the addons to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in one respect.
After Phantom Liberty, a Game of the Year Edition for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released. And then there is also a sequel to the role-playing game with Project Orion – just not too soon.
With six new Witcher games, a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a completely new brand, fans of the developer studio won’t be short of supplies in the coming years.
