Gade is to replace one of the five BIG players!

After finishing in 8th place at IEM Cologne 2021, German CS:GO team BIG have announced a change to their squad. The organisation has decided to add Danish player Nicklas “gade” Gade to their starting line-up.

Previously, Gade was active in the roster of North, which ceased operations in February 2021. After North’s closure, he played for HYENAS, along with fellow ex-North players aizy and Kjaerbye, who also disbanded in early July.

Can gade revive BIG?
About a year ago, BIG took first place in the CSGO world rankings, but in the weeks and months that followed, they were unable to maintain their performance and fell to eighth place. From now on, Gade is to play a central role in bringing the German team back to the top of competitive CS:GO.

According to the official announcement, Gade will support the in-game leader “tabseN” inside and outside the game with his extensive experience and leadership skills. The first assignment for the new BIG squad will be the ESL Pro League Season 14 in about two weeks.

As of yet, BIG has not announced which of the five current starting players will be benched or replaced by Gade.

The current BIG squad:
Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
Titian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş
Florian “syrsoN” Rische
Nils “k1to” Gruhne
Nicklas “gade” Gade

Coach: Dustin “DuDe” Großmann
