Since the launch of Warzone: Pacific, there have been a lot of performance and crash problems, especially for Playstation players. However, there is now a solution for this!

The update to the new Warzone chapter “Pacific” of the Call of Duty Battle Royale shooter led to considerable performance problems, especially for Playstation players. Due to the numerous reports regarding crashes and faulty textures, Raven Software published advice that should serve as a temporary solution for most players until they can fix the deep-rooted causes of the problems.

So if you keep encountering broken or invisible textures, getting kicked out of your lobby, or even experiencing crashes, try these simple adjustments recommended by the developer:

  • Start Warzone on your home console
  • Open the Options menu and scroll to the Graphics tab
  • Scroll down until you find On-demand Texture Streaming
  • Change the setting from Standard Quality or High Quality to “Disable “
  • Confirm the change and make sure the setting of the additional saved files is set to “Auto Delete “

With these settings, the graphics of your game will look a little unfamiliar, but it will lighten the load on your operating system and solve a variety of problems. As mentioned above, the long-term solution is currently being worked on, which the developer hopes to release soon in a bugfix patch.
