New Warzone 2 leaks are creating hype among Diablo fans. Are Lilith and Butcher coming to the Call of Duty world?

Data miners have found hints of Diablo IV references in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game. Apparently, an update with the found crossover is to be released soon.

Publisher Activision has already integrated characters such as Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage and also Snoop Dogg into Warzone and MW2 this season. Additionally, an announcement confirmed that Lara Croft will soon be playable as an operator.

Twitter user CharlieIntel suspects, based on new information from the latest update, that the next season will bring forth several more licensed characters as playable operators. In the same update, connections with Diablo 4 were also found.

Diablo 4 in Warzone 2 and MW2?

On September 4, CharlieIntel wrote: “Data miners have found symbols with references to Lilith and Butcher in the latest Warzone update. “

According to the rumour, a crossover of the two video game worlds will be released with the next season and “The Haunting” event.

Players can look forward to the launch of Season 6 towards the end of September. Because based on the remaining Battle Pass, it should start around September 27.

Publisher Activision Blizzard has not yet officially commented on the leaks, especially since it is also not known in what form the two characters Lilith and Butcher will be inserted into the game.

They could be playable operators again or other game content in the Call of Duty world.
