The new anti-cheat system RICOCHET has been integrated into Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific on PC. Adjustments to bugs and weapons are added.

Developer Raven Software announced patch 1.50 in Call of Duty: Warzone on Wednesday. The update for Season 1 went online on the same day and is especially interesting for all players because of the new anti-cheat system RICOCHET. Cheaters should be significantly more restricted.

When it became clear a week ago that RICOCHET would initially only be used in the Asia-Pacific region, everyone else had to be patient. But since Wednesday, the entire Warzone globe is now covered with the anti-cheat. This special kernel driver is intended for all PC gamers. Similar to the VALORANT system Vanguard, RICOCHET is always active while playing Warzone Pacific.

The system analyses all movements and actions and checks whether everything is in order. RICOCHET recognises conspicuous behaviour and blocks potential cheaters. Although it will still not be possible to unmask all cheaters directly, clear deviations from normal gameplay should be reported more frequently over time.

Besides the introduction of RICOCHET, Raven Software followed up with some bug fixes and weapon balancing. In the latter, emphasis was generally placed on modifying the recoil pattern in a wide variety of situations. This affects, among others, the assault rifles Assault Rifle Alpha, Assault Rifle Charlie and Assault Rifle Hotel.

Among the bugs, mainly collision errors have been reduced, which were discovered with penetrating objects and similar problems on the map Caldera. The full patch notes for CoD: Warzone can be found on the (official site of Raven Software)
