The Call of Duty mode Outbreak has a new Easter Egg and a challenging Boss Fight in Black Ops Cold War. This Easter Egg is hidden in the Main quest and is not easy to get along the way.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been given an Easter Egg. Developer Treyarch announced on Thursday that the latest Zombies main quest in Outbreak is playable. In it, there is a questline that spawns an alternate ending with intense boss combat.

The Youtuber “Geeky Pastimes” has explained in detail in his video how to master the Easter Egg in Outbreak. He recommends first reaching round 3 of Outbreak before really getting started. In the first two rounds, weapons should be levelled as high as possible and as much essence as possible should be collected. Side missions and perks should also be part of this. Because due to the upcoming boss fight, which can take a lot of damage, this is usually necessary. The Easter Egg is already finished in the fifth round.

In order to start the Easter Egg or trigger it at all, radios must be collected on the map. Because these are not displayed on the map, the search for them is a bit more tedious. We recommend the trick of playing with subtitles. As soon as you are near a radio, a subtitle will appear that begins with the word “radio”.

Radio signals introduce the Easter Egg

Three more of these radios must be found around the first radio, which must play the same sound. The frequency can be changed and thus retuned. If the sound is the right one, the character Samantha Maxis will start talking on the radio.

As soon as all radios are set correctly, a signal tower appears in the centre of the map. There you can make contact with Samantha Maxis. This will introduce the story from round 4 in Outbreak changed with another alternative text from her.

In round 4 you have to shoot down monkey figures, several of which are in houses. One of these monkeys has a film ribbon, which must be collected. Then you have to find a suitable projector to play the film tape. As soon as you do this, you will see a report about the missile silos in Ruka.

All that remains is to complete the objectives for round 4 before returning to the signal tower. The teleport will take you directly to Ruka in Round 5, and the location for the boss fight is the Missile Silos. Once there, three keys are required to insert them into the console in the correct order. This starts a countdown that heralds the final battle.

Boss fight on the Missile Silos

You just have to go up the stairs through the main corridor to get to the roof of the Missile Silons through the door. There, the boss fight against the Legion Storm takes place. It hovers over the battlefield and must be hit in the chest. Good preparation pays off here if the damage on the weapons has been maximised. Because the boss is not easy to get down and will fight back with stormy fury and more zombies on the roof.
