While the community eagerly awaits the third season of Warzone, an interesting artwork has been leaked on the PlayStation Network.
An epic battle is in store for us in Warzone. As an artwork from the PlayStation Network now confirms, Godzilla and King Kong will soon be fighting each other on the small Pacific island Caldera.
Operation Monarch
An official Call of Duty artwork recently leaked on the PlayStation Network, revealing the imminent arrival of King Kong and Godzilla in Warzone. After two months of rumours, teasers and hints, there is now not only confirmation, but also a release date for Godzilla vs. King Kong.
The event will be called “Operation Monarch” and will be released on 11 May. In the Godzilla films, Monarch is the secret organisation that monitors, researches and sometimes fights monsters like Godzilla and King Kong. So Godzilla and King Kong will not appear in the game with the release of Season 3, as previously thought, but will appear about two weeks later. Until now, it was only clear that Godzilla would come into the game, while King Kong’s debut in Warzone could only be speculated about for a long time.

What’s in it?
What exactly is involved in the event is still unclear. However, it can be assumed that Caldera will change a lot due to the appearance of the two monster titans. Another possibility would be that we can decide on whose side we want to fight and then support either Godzilla or King Kong in his fight.

The already announced new weapons, which look like they will be especially effective in fighting monsters, also speak in favour of this. However, it is difficult to identify a clear villain, as both opponents have already razed cities and landscapes to the ground in the course of their film careers.
