Placing an auto-firing gun on top of a truck and then leisurely taking out enemies as you drive by? Sounds tempting, but unfortunately it doesn’t work without problems.

A new bug in Call of Duty: Warzone causes cargo trucks to accidentally explode when equipped with a Sentry Gun. Instead of automatically shooting enemies as usual, the killstreak weapon suddenly turns on its owner.

The bug was posted by Reddit user AdamMarsdenUK on Friday. He placed the Sentry Gun on the cab of a “Big Bertha” truck and then got into the vehicle. However, as soon as he was inside the vehicle, it began to glide wildly and eventually floated around upside down until it burst into flames with a huge explosion.

Sentry on the Bertha they said… from CODWarzone

Equipping a cargo truck with an automatic weapon certainly seems like a strategically sound idea to many McGyvers among gamers. However, the game does not seem to be fully ready for this tactic. Other players, however, reported that they were able to successfully place the Sentry Gun on the back of the truck. This way, the truck does not explode and the Sentry Gun automatically shoots at enemies when the player is travelling slowly with the machine.
