This SMG in Warzone can be played as both an SMG and an assault rifle. We have the best setup for the AMR9 for you

Currently, an SMG dominates the Warzone meta that is everything but an SMG. For a long time, the AMR9 only served as sniper support and led a rather unknown existence. Thanks to the extremely extensive modification options in Call of Duty, the community has now created a submachine gun that is more assault rifle than SMG. We tell you how you should play the AMR9

SMG or assault rifle? Yes!

The best weapon in Warzone can currently be used as both an SMG and an assault rifle. With the right attachments, the AMR9 fills two gaps in the Battle Royale and stands out above all with its versatility and extremely fast TTK.

As Warzone pro WhosImmortal rightly pointed out in his new video, the AMR9 is more like an assault rifle than an SMG. Both the combat distances, TTK and the 5.56 mm caliber are more reminiscent of an AR than a submachine gun.

It’s not the first time players have remodeled a weapon so that it ends up in a completely different class. The FTAC Siege was introduced as a secondary weapon in Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded, for example, but turned into more of a submachine gun thanks to various attachments.

How you should play the AMR9:

  • Run: Nimbus-6 Integrated Suppressor
  • Underrun: Bruen Heavy Support
  • Sight: JAK Glassless Optic
  • Ammunition: 5.56 Nato High Grain
  • Magazine: 50-round mag
