The final season in CoD: Vanguard begins: Special firearms such as the RA 225 SMG are included for the start. But also a new kind of knife-gun hybrid is a breath of fresh air.
Call of Duty: Vanguard and the Battle Royale Warzone are on the home stretch. Before it continues with the successor CoD: Modern Warfare 2 from 28 October, the focus is on Season 5 “Last Stand”, which will be the last for the title.
Season 5 kicks off on 24 August and will be accompanied by the release of five brand new weapons in Vanguard and Warzone. Some of them will be playable right at release, others will move up in the coming days.

EX1 Energy Rifle
The energy weapon will be available directly at the start of the season on 24 August. It is particularly suitable for long distances and is customisable. After firing a powerful energy beam instead of a bullet, the EX1 Energy Rifle has to recharge for a few seconds due to the cool-down. Accordingly, caution is advised – especially in heated situations with enemies nearby.
RA 225 SMG
The submachine gun is characterised by a high rate of fire and great mobility. Thus, the RA 225 will become the match winner in close combat and at medium range.
Valois revolver
This hybrid gun and knife is reminiscent of earlier weapons from the 19th century. But in contrast to the Parisian needle firearms with integrated pocket knife, the Valois revolver is given a modern polish. Thus, it can be flexibly decided how the opponents should fall in close combat.
The Valois Revoler can be unlocked for free. To do so, one of two scenarios must be fulfilled:
- Multiplayer: Get 15 Melee Kills
- Zombie Mode: Get 1,000 eliminations with pistols obtained through Pack-a-Punched
BP50 AR and Lienna 58 AR
These two assault rifles will appear from the midseason update.
