The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard is coming up. Here you can find out everything about the preload of the console version and for the PC.

The new Call of Duty title Vanguard will launch on November 5. Before that, Activision announced the preload modalities for the consoles and PC on Friday. All players who pre-order the game digitally will be able to pre-load the title so that it is ready to play right at launch.

Preloading will be available for consoles at the following times: For PlayStation 4 and 5, preloading will begin at midnight on Friday. For the Xbox One and Xbox Series X-S, the starting signal was already given last Thursday.

Before attempting to download the game, make sure the console has the latest firmware installed. Those who have purchased a digital version of the game but do not download it during the preload period can then simply visit the first-party store of the relevant platform and follow the instructions there to download.

What file sizes are required?

Good news for all CoD gamers. The installation size of Vanguard has been significantly reduced compared to previous versions of the franchise. The size is 30 to 50 percent lower.

  • PlayStation 5: 64.13 GB download – 89.84 GB required storage
  • PlayStation 4: 54.65 GB download – 93.12 GB required storage
  • Xbox Series X – S: 61 GB download – 61 GB required storage
  • Xbox One: 56.6 GB download – 56.6 GB required storage

Players:inside can manage the storage space and reduce the total file size of the game during or after preloading.

PC info coming soon: Activision plans to announce the download volume for the PC soon. The preload will be available from next Tuesday. In addition, the developer will then name the specifications to play the game on minimum, recommended, competitive and Ultra 4K performance
