In Call of Duty: Warzone there is a weekly rotation of game modes. This time, however, it’s hit the regular big Battle Royale mode.

Fans of the regular Battle Royale mode on Verdansk will have to go down the tubes. In the latest patch on 26 August, Raven Software simply removed the mode. Actually, the Battle Royale was the permanent constant. In addition, there were additional temporary modes that were supposed to provide variety.

These modes still exist

Instead of Battle Royale, there is now Buyback mode. Interestingly, this can be found under the English name “Buy Back” in the main menu. In addition to this, Charge replaces the King Slayer mode.

It doesn’t appear to be a bug, as the official Twitter account has announced this rotation.

From the comments, it can be seen that this playlist rotation is not well received. Why the developers decided to do this remains unclear. Maybe we’ll get new teasers, changes or just some bug fixes.
