Owlcat Games wraps up the role-playing game at a ship graveyard: Alongside companion Stella, the Fanatic archetype and new Madness mechanics await.
On December 8, 2026, Owlcat Games sends you on one last adventure with the Rogue Trader and his crew.
On that day, the development studio will release “Processional of the Damned,” the final DLC for the role-playing game Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
Graveyard for Empty Ships: New Companion Stella and Seamless Story Integration
Like the previous story packs, this finale also brings a new story, an additional companion, a fresh playable archetype, new enemy types, fresh gameplay mechanics, additional gear, and much more
Processional of the Damned is also seamlessly integrated into the main game, with quests spread throughout the main campaign.
“Stella, a fragile-looking young woman and herald of the Miracle who was raised by the Order of Saint Cognatius, can be recruited as a companion,” the announcement states. “Led by Stella, the Rogue Trader and his entourage travel to the Processional of the Damned, a gigantic graveyard for Void ships, where they are promptly trapped. To escape, they must team up with the survivors of a missionary expedition, venture deeper into the graveyard filled with enemy ships, and discover who lured Stella into the graveyard in the first place—and for what purpose.”
The “Fanatic” Archetype and “Madness”: All Platforms and a Look Ahead at Dark Heresy
The ‘Fanatic’ archetype, introduced with the DLC, is focused on melee combat and specializes in “beating enemies to a pulp.” The “Madness” feature, meanwhile, affects all companions.
The expansion is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG) as well as on consoles (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2).
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy is currently being developed by the studio as a sequel, though it does not yet have a release date. Most recently, the companion Aspyce Chorda was introduced here.
