Behaviour Interactive will remove the Chucky DLC from Dead by Daylight on November 24. Anyone who wants to own the killer doll can still get a discount before then.

Players have until November 24 to purchase the Chucky DLC pack before it disappears from the Dead by Daylight store. Developer Behaviour Interactive announced this on its social media channels. In the game itself, the killer is simply called “The Good Guy” and is getting one last discount promotion before bidding farewell to the Fog.

Chucky as an iconic slasher killer

Chucky is one of the icons of the slasher genre. Brad Dourif, whom you may recognize as Gríma Wormtongue from Peter Jackson’s *Lord of the Rings* films, among other roles, has voiced the character not only in the game *Dead by Daylight* but also in the films and TV series for nearly 40 years now.

In the movies, Chucky is a doll possessed by the spirit of a brutal murderer. The murderer used voodoo to transfer his life force into the doll, which then went on to terrorize people in eight movies and a TV series spanning three seasons.

Farewell from the Dead by Daylight Store

But his killing spree isn’t limited to film and television—it continues in Dead by Daylight as well. Since November 28, 2023, the killer doll has been hunting survivors in the game, but on November 24, it will disappear from the stores. However, anyone who purchased the DLC pack beforehand doesn’t have to worry about losing its contents.

The Chucky DLC currently costs 4.99 euros, but Behavior Interactive has announced a discount along with the news of its discontinuation. Starting October 26, the expansion will be marked down by half. Additionally, all perks added with the Chucky DLC will remain available. These will simply be added to the general killer perk pool.

Chucky isn’t necessarily one of the fastest killers in Dead by Daylight, but his small stature makes him hard to spot in the environment. His abilities help him confuse survivors, cover distances quickly, or gain a speed boost near completed generators. The developers haven’t explained exactly why the DLC is being removed.
