Ubisoft’s racing game is entering its fourth year. The major update introduces the new Hawaiian island of Kauai, winch features, and wild animals to discover.
Ubisoft’s racing game The Crew Motorfest kicks off its fourth year with Season 11: Expeditions and is simultaneously launching on the Nintendo Switch 2—the version is available for 49.99 euros in the eShop.
With the latest update, the game is expanded to include a new island, special events, and numerous previously unknown features. These include, among other things, wild animals that roam freely throughout the archipelago.
Tomb Raider Crossover: On a Quest for Relics with Lara Croft
At the same time, a collaboration with Crystal Dynamics is launching. As part of this, a premium DLC pack for Tomb Raider is available, featuring exclusive vehicles, a new island, and the “Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau” playlist.
In it, you’ll join Lara Croft on a quest to find a missing friend who vanished without a trace while searching for a powerful relic. Under Lara’s remote guidance, the search takes you through a jungle filled with ancient ruins and dangerous predators. In the English version, Lara Croft is voiced by Alix Wilton Regan, her new official voice actress.
Free Island Kauai: New Playlist, Wildlife, and Winch Gameplay
Beyond that, the game world is expanding with the free island of Kauai. A themed playlist invites you to explore the island’s coastlines and cliffs and drive along its roads for the first time. You’ll get eight main events, 40 animal species to photograph, and the new “Road Discovery” feature. This feature rewards exploration of the game world and is designed to motivate you to discover new paths, uncover the map, and unlock additional rewards.
“In addition to the two new playlists, Season 11 also introduces the Winch & Towing feature,” the announcement states. “The winch is available for select vehicles and opens up new possibilities for exploration. It can be used to clear obstacles, solve puzzles, discover new routes, and even rescue other vehicles from tricky situations. Vehicles ready to tackle these challenges include the Hyundai Crater Concept, the Suzuki Jimny Winch Ed, and the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6. Also new is the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. This high-performance vehicle combines sporty design with off-road capability, making it ideal for driving through the diverse wilderness of Kauai.”
The highlight of a new special event is, of course, the Bugatti Tourbillon. A new story is also set to be released midway through the season.
