Ahead of the October release, players can get a taste of the labyrinth, complete with a new trailer for the Scarlet Church
A new playable demo for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is now available on Steam—even before the full release on October 8. Unfortunately, it’s not yet clear whether the game will be available in German stores at all. It’s quite possible that we in Germany won’t even get the chance to play it. The USK’s rating review is still ongoing.
Hellraiser Gets a Playable Demo Before Launch
The demo was released alongside a new trailer titled “Scarlet Church.” It introduces the cult that is attempting to establish a “debauched paradise for humanity” in Clive Barker’s hell. Even the censored version is brimming with gore, sex, torture, violence, and a hell of a lot of rubber—so Editor’s Note: Viewer Discretion Advised and so on.
In the demo, you’ll explore the ever-changing labyrinth and face off against the Scarlet Church. The Scarlet Church has seized the Genesis Configuration—a coveted puzzle box that lies at the heart of the story. The demo introduces you to the game’s main characters and teaches you the basics of combat, crafting, and puzzles. However, your progress will not carry over to the full version.
You can pre-order Hellraiser: Revival now for £35 (£45 for the Deluxe Edition). Both versions unlock an exclusive Labyrinth Pistol skin and a Martyr Sawblade skin at launch.
Two Collector’s Editions are also available for pre-order. They contain various exclusive, licensed collectibles and include all the bonuses from the Deluxe Edition.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival was announced a year ago. Since then, developer diaries have provided new information bit by bit, until the final release date was finally revealed in June: October 8, 2026. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
