This meticulously detailed passenger jet is now available for PC and consoles. However, you’ll have to dig deep into your pockets for this level of realism.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 already offers a wide selection of aircraft, but now another one is joining the lineup. A true giant of the skies—but one that comes with an equally hefty price tag.

We’re talking about the Airbus A380, which you can now purchase on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. You’ll have to dig deep into your pockets, though, because the massive jet costs $74.49 on the game’s marketplace.

As part of the “Exclusive Series,” the A380 will initially be available exclusively on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace for three months before it becomes available in the iniBuilds store as well.

In-Depth Cockpit and Avionics: What’s Included in the A380 DLC

On the official website, the aircraft is presented in more detail, showcasing the meticulous care that went into the recreation.

According to the website, the A380 will be available in two liveries at launch, with more to follow later. It also features elaborately detailed exterior and interior models, as well as a fully modeled cockpit with numerous interactive controls, displays, and onboard systems. The avionics are also extremely detailed and include navigation, autopilot, flight management, and monitoring functions.

Custom flight physics and cockpit printer: Attention to detail

In addition, the package offers two unique engine variants with noticeable differences in performance and a custom flight model that accurately captures the giant jet’s enormous mass, inertia, and unique flight characteristics. Even a working printer in the cockpit has made it into the game—along with countless other details.

Whether the investment is worth it is up to each individual to decide—but true enthusiasts will certainly enjoy it.
