Sucker Punch offers a deeper look at the Complete Edition’s survival mode, featuring new characters, boss runs, and the release date.
Sony and Sucker Punch showcase the new “Most Wanted” mode in a trailer. This is a combat survival mode where you can put your strength and resilience to the test. During State of Play, we already got a glimpse of the gameplay that awaits us in this survival mode, which will be included in the Complete Edition.
Ghost of Yotei: New Trailer for Most Wanted
What can you expect in Ghost of Yotei: Most Wanted? “Fight your way through waves of enemies and take on challenging new boss battles. A variety of rewards await: from new weapons and cosmetic items to unlockable playable characters,“ according to the video description.
So you’ll fight, survive, and rake in rewards. However, you can only do this on your own. This is a single-player mode. As a lone fighter, you’ll take on missions and unlock new characters who fight with new weapons. A little variety is always nice.
Atsu, for example, fights with two katanas, Oyuki uses a kusarigama, and Nagato wields a yari.
When can you put your skills to the test in Most Wanted? The mode doesn’t launch until October 1, so you’ll have to wait a few more weeks.
Also included in the Complete Edition is Echoes of Sekigahara. The expansion delves into Atsu’s story and reveals what the protagonist experienced on the mainland. Nagato, a character from Atsu’s past, is also introduced in the DLC. Historically, this expansion centers on the Battle of Sekigahara.
You’ll also find Ghost of Yōtei Legends in the Complete Edition. The additional content from the Deluxe Edition is, of course, also included in the Complete Edition. Otherwise, it could hardly be called “complete.”
