The PlayStation 5 has been available in several limited editions so far. But yellow? That color is a rare sight. With Marvel’s Wolverine serving as the inspiration for the upcoming design, Sony is indeed introducing a version that’s quite eye-catching. Starting September 15, you’ll be able to purchase the PS5 in the new design along with matching accessories.
Yellow or silver? As long as Wolverine’s claws are on my PS5
A PS5 with scratches? Not really a good reason to launch a console—unless Marvel’s Wolverine is the theme of the new limited edition. Then a scratch isn’t a bug, but a feature.
The console is predominantly yellow with some black details. These include Wolverine’s snarling face and the iconic scratch marks from his claws, which stretch across almost the entire console.
The controller is also black and yellow and features the scratch marks. Sony also offers matching console covers. So you don’t have to buy a whole new PS5 right away if you own a Slim or Pro. If yellow isn’t your thing, there’s also an Adamantium Limited Edition with a silvery metallic finish.

What are the prices?A Wolverine-themed PS5 costs 649.99 euros, and the wireless controller costs 84.99 euros.
The console covers for the yellow design cost 74.99 euros. For the PS5 Pro, you’ll pay the same price for the cover. The price remains the same for the silver edition as well: 74.99 euros for the cover and 84.99 euros for the wireless controller.
