Bring a dead planet back to life in this new title from Focus Entertainment. A free demo is now available on Steam.

Focus Entertainment and developer Broken Arms Games have confirmed the release date for BioEden. The cozy management game launches on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).

The game is described as a nature-oriented building simulation in which you must save a barren world.

Game World Concept and the Specialist’s Tasks

“You are a specialist entrusted by the Cosmic Collective with the task of breathing life back into a world that quietly awaits healing,” according to the official announcement. “Your planet needs patience, care, and a little ingenuity so that all its ecosystems can be restored.”

“Design and nurture a living ecosystem of interconnected domes, each of which is a reserve carefully tailored to the needs of the collective: Manage your resources sustainably, develop your progression trees, build habitats for animals long thought to be extinct, and watch as a self-sustaining world slowly takes shape around you. Roam your planet at your own pace, unravel the mystery of the Great Devastation, and transform the wasteland into a warm paradise.“

Demo Availability and Core Game Mechanics

Before BioEden is released, you can try it out by downloading thedemo on Steam. This gives you unlimited access to the tutorial and lets you get a first impression of the game. At the same time, you’ll learn the game’s core mechanics: resource and space management, exploration, relaxed building, and caring for animals. Pre-orders are also available now.
