The Elder Scrolls 6 not until 2287? A new mod for Fallout 4 hopefully isn’t predicting the future, but it achieves something technically amazing.
Todd Howard has apparently done it again and released a new version ofSkyrim! How else can you explain Skyrim suddenly appearing as a holotape in the Commonwealth, with Wastelanders glued to their terminal screens day in and day out?
Skyrim in its most absurd version
Okay, actually, theSkyrim PipBoy Edition
is a mod for Fallout 4 that you download on Nexusmods.
Modder RPGKing117 has managed, with frightening skill—and perhaps some Institute technology or a dash of magic—to let youlaunch your Skyrim installation via a holotape in Fallout 4and play it on the screen of a Pip-Boy or terminal. Here’s a quick demo from the author himself:
Theoretically, it’s even possible to play a modded version of Skyrim in Fallout 4. But we won’t be held responsible if your computer crashes. By the way, the Skyrim PipBoy Edition isn’t the modder’s first project: He’s already provided the Wasteland with versions of Morrowindand even the original Fallout.& nbsp; This even lets you play Fallout within Fallout!
Of course, players already have more fantastic suggestions and ideas for RPGKing117:
There should be a random encounter with Todd Howard trying to sell you the holotape!
Next, we need to be able to play Fallout 4 in Fallout 4.
But can you also play Fallout in Skyrim, using Skooma?
There’s also a special suggestion for the braveelven_magics:Play through Skyrim in its entirety in Fallout 4.
Now all that’s really missing is a lore update explaining how Todd Howard and Skyrim ended up in the world of Fallout 4. Maybe the Bethesda lead developer just froze himself in a cryochamber? Or maybe the Institute unleashed a synth clone of him on the Commonwealth.
The problem, of course, is thatthe Fallout timelinebranches off from ours long before Bethesda was founded and The Elder Scrolls were invented. So here’s our final theory: After Todd copies a version of Skyrim into the brain chips of every person on Earth in the near future, he travels to other universes to spread his masterpiece there as well—and eventually ends up in the Commonwealth! Sounds realistic, doesn’t it?
