There are 20 minutes of new gameplay from the Wyoming DLC of American Truck Simulator. Developer and publisher SCS Software is currently working on the new map expansion, which currently has no release date.

The tour starts at a rest area near Evanston in Wyoming and shows parts of Utah and Idaho in addition to the new state. So the Wyoming DLC will not only cover the US state, but also expand the road network of the approaching states.

In the gameplay video, many small details can be seen that the developers have taken over from reality into the game. For example, there are parking spaces for the brake check or roll-out ramps for trucks. On the tour, the convoy also passes small communities where there are not only finished houses at the roadside, but also construction sites and sights from the respective place.

For explorers, there are the so-called “viewpoints”, i.e. special vantage points in the respective region. The feature was introduced as part of the Idaho DLC and you can park your truck at the respective viewpoint to then start an automatic sightseeing flight over the respective attraction.

Incidentally, the tour does not pass the $16 million rest stop immortalised in the ATS: The Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center is located in the southeast of the state, while the tour begins in the southwest and ends in northwest Wyoming.
