In October, Star Wars fans can step on the gas.That’s because Galactic Racer, a Star Wars racing game, is set to release on October 6, 2026, allowing you to relive some of the most iconic speeder and pod races from a galaxy far, far away—and in better graphics than ever before.
The game’s single-player campaign, set during the New Republic era, centers on the pilot Shade, her personal quest for revenge, and the construction of her own repulsorlift vehicle. In multiplayer, you’ll face off against other players on the Galactic League’s PvP track.
Behind Star Wars: Galactic Racer is Fuse Games, a studio founded in 2023 and staffed by former Criterion employees who bring experience from Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. In the latest trailer, you’ll see not only new gameplay footage but also some pre-order bonuses from the game’s Deluxe Edition.
