Nintendo has aired a new Partner Showcase, clearly focusing on third-party studios. The presentation centered on numerous games for Switch and Switch 2, including new announcements, release dates, demos, and an immediately available upgrade for Hollow Knight.

Among the biggest topics were new details about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, several Switch 2 ports from Bethesda, and a number of other titles scheduled for release in 2026.

Orbitals opens showcase with anime co-op for Switch 2

Orbitals kicked off the presentation. The co-op action game features a look heavily inspired by 80s anime. The presentation focused primarily on gameplay designed for fast-paced action and team play.

Orbitals is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026 and will be released exclusively for Switch 2.

Paranormasight returns with a new mystery game

Another narrative game has been announced: Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse. The story combines several perspectives, including a girl with no memories, strangers searching for clues, and a housewife investigating murders.
The title is scheduled for release later in 2026 for Switch and Switch 2.

Tokyo Scramble combines stealth, dinosaurs, and GameShare

Tokyo Scramble is based on an unusual concept: a stealth game with dinosaurs that takes place beneath the surface of Tokyo. Nintendo has also confirmed that the title will support GameShare. Up to four players will be able to take control together.

The release date has already been set. Tokyo Scramble will be released on February 11.

Valheim and Hollow Knight are getting Switch 2 versions

Valheim has also been confirmed for Switch 2. The survival game brings its Viking aesthetic and crafting system to the new Nintendo console.

Hollow Knight has also been announced for Switch 2, but with one special feature: the upgrade is available now. Owners of the original version can also claim it for free.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on June 3 for Switch 2

Square Enix has announced a fixed release date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in its showcase. The second part of the remake trilogy is set to be released on June 3 for Switch 2.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake had already been released for Switch 2. Rebirth continues the story of the series and will be released on the platform just a few months after the first part.

eFootball and Captain Tsubasa 2 bring soccer to Switch

Konami is bringing the soccer series formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer back to Nintendo systems with eFootball Kick-Off. The release is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters was also shown. The title once again focuses on anime-style soccer and is scheduled for release later in 2026 for Switch and Switch 2.

Pragmata, Turok Origins, and more trailers for 2026

Capcom also showed new material for Pragmata. The game will be released on April 24. At the same time, it was confirmed that a demo is available that can also be played on Switch 2.

A new co-op action game, Turok Origins, was also presented. Players take on the role of Turok warriors, fighting dinosaurs and an alien threat. In addition, it will also be possible to use DNA from enemies for upgrades.

Todd Howard announces three Bethesda games for Switch 2

Bethesda brought the presentation to a close. Todd Howard appeared in the showcase and confirmed three games for Switch 2.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will be released on February 24. It includes the main game, six expansions, and additional content. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will also follow on May 12.

In addition, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered was announced for Switch 2. However, the game is scheduled for release later in 2026.

Resident Evil Requiem remains on track and will receive Amiibo figures

Capcom also showed additional material for Resident Evil Requiem. The title is still scheduled for release on February 27. However, there was no mention of a demo in the presentation.

What is new, however, is the confirmation that Resident Evil Requiem will receive Amiibo figures. Figures of Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft are planned. These are scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2026.
