Arc Raiders will be released in October, but shortly before its release, you can play it for free once more and help the developers test the servers.
Autumn is a good time for shooter fans. Borderlands 4 was released recently, Battlefield 6 is coming in a few weeks, and then there’s Arc Raiders, which is scheduled for release on October 30, 2025.
The extraction shooter does a few things differently than its genre counterparts and could be a real hit, according to our expert Daniel. In his conclusion after playing the game, he writes:
The exploration is satisfying, the combat dangerous and brutal, and the game world is readable and believable.
If you want to see for yourself what Arc Raiders has to offer, there’s one last chance before the release: as part of a server stress test, you can play the Dam Battlegrounds map for free from October 17 to 19.
How to participate
There are no requirements for participation. The server slam will take place on PC (Steam or Epic Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. No registration or sign-up is necessary in advance. Instead, you can simply download the game from the respective platform or store when it launches.
The most important questions answered:
- What will be played? You will be able to explore the Dam Battlegrounds map and try out the progression system, crafting, quests, and more.
- Is there a reward? Yes, all participants will receive a cosmetic backpack that will be unlocked when you purchase the game upon release. You can see a picture of it right here:
- What happens to my progress? Your progress from the Server Slam will not carry over to the finished game. Even if you have already pre-ordered, you will have to start from scratch again when the game is released.
