A Total War Saga: Troy – Seven minutes of gameplay with monsters from the Mythos DLC

On 2 September, after a year of Epic exclusivity, Troy: A Total War Saga will also be released on Steam. But it doesn’t come alone. In parallel, Creative Assembly is releasing a completely new DLC called Mythos. And this DLC is quite something. Because it turns the semi-historical Total War into a thoroughly mythological one. As known from the Greek legends, real monsters will now also appear. Among them are three legendary beasts: the Hydra, the Cerberus and the Griffin.

The developers show you exactly how it all plays in the gameplay presentation above. Of course, there are even more monsters. During a battle, for example, we also see flying harpies. With this, Troy moves quite a bit in the direction of Warhammer: Total War. For our Total War expert Fabiano, this is the right step, but a late one.
