Fan euphoria during the Call of Duty League Stage 5 Major! ProSieben MAXX broadcasts the esports milestone live on TV.

As one of the first major esports competitions, the Call of Duy League will open its doors to fans once again. Spectators will once again be on hand at the upcoming Stage 5 Major in Texas from 29 July to 1 August. This will be the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic that CDL fans will be able to cheer on their favourite team on site.

You can watch the Stage 5 Major decision live on free TV: ProSieben MAXX will broadcast the final live on 1 August from 23:00. So don’t miss out on this esports highlight and tune in next Sunday.

The Call of Duty League announced the return of viewers with the words “We back” in a short tweet on 06 July:

However, it is still unclear how many fans will be admitted to the event. In view of the traditional sport, however, it can be assumed that there will be a reduced capacity. In addition, the group stage of the major will continue to be played online and only the knockout stage will switch to offline mode including spectators.

Among the favourites for the Stage 5 Major title this season are Optic Chicago, in addition to the last finalists Atlante Faze and Dallas Empire. The team is at the top of Group A and only misses out on an undefeated group stage because of its last match against Los Angeles Thieves. The same applies to Toronto Ultra, who also only suffered a defeat in their last match.
