As part of the Summer Game Fest at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, Kojima Productions presented the first moving images from Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Alongside Hideo Kojima and host Geoff Keighley, guests such as Elle Fanning, Troy Baker, Shioli Kutsuna, and Woodkid took to the stage – a star-studded ensemble that filled the moment with intensity.

The trailer took viewers into dark, vast landscapes.Sam Porter Bridges encounters new characters such as Neil (Troy Baker) and Lucy (Elle Fanning), followed shortly thereafter by a fight scene against Neil that showcases not only tactical flair but also narrative depth. This is complemented by a lively mix of philosophical dialogue and cinematic images that bear Kojima’s signature.

Major changes are also on the horizon in terms of gameplay: in addition to the familiar terrain handling, Sam uses stealth abilities and combat skills for the first time. A key feature is the monorail system, which opens up new connections between distant parts of the game.

At the same time, the World Strand Tour 2,will be announced in twelve major cities: Los Angeles, Sydney, Tokyo, Paris, London, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Riyadh, São Paulo, and Lucca. The tour will bring Kojima, the cast, and composer Woodkid directly to fans, with livestream options for those who can’t attend in person.
