The next DLC for Age of Wonders 4 is here, and it’s big in every sense of the word – after all, it’s all about giants. The DLC is called Giant Kings and introduces giants as a new ruler type. Like the dragons, the giant elders are not a separate race, but rule over one of the existing ones. Above all, however, they are extremely large and correspondingly powerful in turn-based battles. As usual, you can create your giant completely yourself in the editor before the game starts, and you have a huge (hehe) selection of building blocks to choose from.
In addition to the new ruler type, the DLC introduces a few other features to the game, such as the Crystal Abodes, where you can get very special items. Merchants are now also wandering the world, carrying valuable cargo. You can negotiate for them or simply conquer them.
Giant Kings was released on April 1 and costs 25 euros. The DLC is also part of the Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 2.
