The Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event trailer gives you a first look at the upcoming content. It introduces the 19 brand new Ascendancy classes, which will bring a month of fresh content to the game with unique abilities and play styles.
The trailer also gives a first look at the new idol system, which will temporarily replace the well-known Atlas in the endgame.
