Blizzard’s action role-playing game is once again offering a free trial period to kick off the new season.
For the past two days, Season 7 of Diablo 4 has been running with a host of new content, mechanics and gameplay improvements. If you’ve always wanted to try the role-playing game, now’s your chance to do so without paying a cent.
Diablo 4: All info about the free trial
- Period: The test phase is still running until January 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. German time.
- Platform:The offer is limited to the PC and the Battle.net.
- Scope:You can try out the main game and the expansion Vessel of Hatred. This also gives you access to the Spiritborn class.
- Restriction: The level cap is 25, which means you won’t be able to finish the main story or the story of the add-on.
Incidentally, during the free week, Blizzard is offering Diablo 4 and the expansion Vessel of Hatred with up to 45 percent off – but only on Battle.net.

The theme of Season 7 is Witch Power These are magical abilities that you can use to further enhance your builds. You can obtain the witch powers from a new material called Restless Decay, which you can collect through various new and old activities.
Another new feature is the armory , which has been a long-standing community request. It allows you to save builds, i.e. equipment, skills, paragon boards, and so on, and switch them at the push of a button.
For the new season, there is of course also a new Battle Pass with numerous cosmetic unlocks and a seasonal journey with new challenges.

For the new season, Blizzard has made significant balancing changes and brought some unpopular builds and classes back into the spotlight.
