The Esport team of professional footballer Casemiro (Real Madrid) is changing its personnel. The entire CS:GO line-up has been benched

Casemiro is used to sporting success – the Brazilian football star in the service of Real Madrid is a four-time Champions League winner as well as a multiple Spanish champion. But there is sand in the PC gears when it comes to his involvement in esports. Last week, his organisation Case Esports took the entire line-up in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive off the screen.

“Case Esports has decided to move the entire CS:GO roster to the bench,” the organisation wrote on Twitter. “Due to this situation we have to end that part of this season.” Casemiro’s team did not provide a reason for the move. However, the CS:GO lineup has fallen short of its goals to catch up with top teams like Movistar Riders in the Spanish region.

The disgraced roster consists of five Brazilian players who had no previous experience with any major organisation. Only Yan “yepz” Pedretti has been able to train against the top professionals in the FURIA Academy team. There are no replacements for the scrapped players yet, but Case Esports adds that officials are working on a new roster to be presented in the coming weeks.

Casemiro has been the owner of Spanish organisation Case Esports since October 2020. Back in May of this year, the Brazilian responded to fans’ requests, created a Twitch account and began streaming games such as CS:GO and FIFA.
