Another week full of exciting new releases is coming to Steam. Among other things, Path of Exile 2 is already facing competition
After last week was rather quiet and produced at least one rather entertaining building game, action role-playing game fans in particular can now look forward to the new releases of the week on Steam, as an award-winning studio now wants to compete with Path of Exile 2.

Highlight of the week: No Rest for the Wicked
(Genre: Action role-playing game – Developer: Moon Studios – Release: April 18 (Steam)
No Rest for the Wicked is the latest game from Moon Studios, the controversial makers of the acclaimed Ori games. In this action RPG you explore a dark fantasy world
You start with almost nothing and must make your way through carefully executed attacks, evasive maneuvers and the right timing. The enemies in the game, the so-called Risen, do not forgive mistakes, which requires a precise and tactical approach.
In terms of gameplay, No Rest for the Wicked is very reminiscent of Path of Exile 2, announced for the end of 2024, which also relies on a more methodical approach to combat and is therefore more reminiscent of Dark Souls than Diablo. You can find out whether Moon Studios has succeeded in changing the genre and whether they can maintain the high standard of the Ori games in the first part of our test on Friday (still unrated). No Rest for the Wicked will be released in Early Access

Monday, April 15
- Kithack Model Club (Early Access): This simulation from the developers of the first Kerbal Space Program once again focuses on realistic physics. Here you build remote-controlled models such as airplanes, cars and boats and play with them in various modes. But remember: Not so low, Rüdiger! And no capers!
- Vertical Kingdom: In this building game with roguelike elements, you build a kingdom that extends into the sky – if you do everything right.
Tuesday, April 16
- Kill it with Fire 2 (Early Access): In this funny
shooter
you hunt insects using brutal methods – and if in doubt, you simply burn down your entire house. The sequel now even offers a PVP mode in which you can play as a spider.
- Harold Halibut: The adventure game from Germany lets you explore a huge spaceship stranded in an alien ocean. The special feature: almost the entire game was created with handmade miniatures and backdrops, which were then digitized.
Wednesday, April 17
- Kingsgrave: This top-down role-playing game emulates the classic Zelda games on NES and Super Nintendo, but also has many ideas of its own, such as base building.
Thursday, April 18
- The Crew: Motorfest: The latest open-world racing game from Ubisoft is now making the leap to Steam around six months after its release. In our test you can read whether it’s worth a look for you
- Age of Water (Early Access): If you like playing Sea of Thieves, you might also be happy here. In a post-apocalyptic world, you design ships, trade with other players and can even conquer other players’ boats.
Friday, April 19
- Internet Cafe Evolution: Finally, there’s a little business simulation in which you set up your own Internet Café. If you are particularly successful, this could even attract pro gamers to your café, who you can recruit for your own esports team.
