The Lachmann Sub could soon make a comeback in Modern Warfare 3 thanks to the buffs from Season 2 Reloaded
Nearly every weapon from MW2 made it into the meta after the release of Modern Warfare 3. With the Season 2 Reloaded buffs, however, that could change. We took a look at the almost forgotten SMG Lachmann Sub for you and tell you why it could soon be back in the top ranks.
For a long time, the Lachmann Sub dominated the rankings of the best submachine guns in Call of Duty. At times, it even made it to first place in the overall ranking and could be found in almost every loadout in both Warzone and the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2
With the release of Modern Warfare 3, the MP5 clone fell into oblivion like many other weapons from MW2. Thanks to some buffs in Season 2 Reloaded the SMG is back on its way to the top.
Lachmann Sub Buffs Season 2 Reloaded:
- Maximum damage range increased from 8.9 m to 15.2 m (+71 %)
- Near to medium damage range increased from 16.5 m to 20.6 m (+35 %)
- Medium damage range increased from 23.1 m to 31 m (+30 %)
- Width to medium damage range increased from 36.1 m to 40.6 m (+13 %)
Warzone expert WhosImmortal didn’t have to be asked twice in view of these sometimes enormous buffs and immediately included the weapon in his top 10 meta setups. In Warzone, however, you should still steer clear of the Lachmann Sub, as the buffs currently only affect the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 3.
If we look at the current ranking of meta weapons in Modern Warfare 3, most players don’t seem to have noticed how strong the Lachmann Sub has become since the Season 2 Reloaded update.
However, given the weapon’s power, it’s probably only a matter of time before it conquers the top spots in the rankings again
