Although there are no absolute figures for sales on the PlayStation, interest in Sea of Thieves is probably quite high. There should therefore be a major surge in players for the release in April. The announcement of the PlayStation release of Sea of Thieves followed a discussion about Xbox rumors. It was falsely claimed that major exclusives such as Starfield would soon be coming to Sony’s console. In fact, however, as Microsoft later clarified, initially only three smaller titles will be released for the PlayStation alongside Sea of Thieves. Games such as Starfield and Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, on the other hand, will remain console-exclusive.
