A new set for Sims 4 has temporarily appeared in the EA app, suggesting that the Middle Ages are returning to The Sims! The Middle Ages are returning to The Sims

After numerous past leaks about The Sims 4 it is no longer a big surprise when the next one follows. This time, however, EA itself is responsible – a potential medieval set is said to have mysteriously appeared in EA’s own app.

Of course, this didn’t remain a secret for long and was immediately shared enthusiastically on social media by several Sims fans. However, the bug has since been fixed and removed from the app

All information about the new set so far

X-User TheHenfordHen shares the information about the leak of the new set in a post:

The screenshots show what the medieval expansion contains. You can also already see the title, which is supposed to be “Castle Estate Kit”. In the comments, TheHenfordHen shares a further screenshot the possible release date: This is said to be January 18, 2024!

The description of the set is as follows:

Capture the classic splendor of a castle with The Sims 4 Castle Estate Kit. This community-voted collection includes stone walls, leaded glass, and everything you need to create the perfect dramatic backdrop for your next story.

In addition, there is talk of portcullises, gothic arches, gargoyles, stained glass, and many more building options.

New accessory pack may also be coming?

A goth set could also follow, after all it has the same origin as the medieval set: A community survey from last year.

EA specifically asked fans at the time for their preferences on two proposed categories, each with two options that could appear as potential 2024 sets:

For the mode Create a Sim you could choose between a light and a dark theme. The winner was Goth Fashion with the following picture:

Because the leak is of course not official (and intended) information, there is no guarantee for the new content. So even if the probability is high, view the content here with a pinch of skepticism.

What do you think of the accidentally revealed expansion set? Are you already looking forward to the medieval set or would you have preferred a futuristic building style? Do you have any other themes you’d like to see for your Sims? And speaking of the Middle Ages: How did you like The Sims: Middle Ages? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below:
