The tactics experts at Mimimi want you to keep Shadow Gambit alive for a long time to come and are giving you the tools you need to do so

German development studio Mimimi Games, known for its excellent stealth-tactics titles such as Desperados 3 and Shadow Tactics is closing its doors. But not without leaving us one last gift for his fans: A modding tool for their last game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.

New content for Shadow Gambit should come from you

What can the modding tool do? It allows you to create your own missions in which NPCs can be spawned, objects placed, interactions and animations defined and dialog written for your own story moments.

Though the tool lacks a full-fledged level and character editor and you can only use the existing maps for your projects, it still offers plenty of room for a little creative development within the existing Shadow Gambit levels.

Your own creations can then be exported and shared with other players on the (Mod.io page of Shadow Gambit) and can be found here shortly after release. Shortly after its release, you can already find (a short mission inspired by Monkey Island).

What do you think about this latest gift from Mimimi Games? Do you see it as a chance to keep the successful stealth tactics game alive for years to come? Would you like to try your hand at mission design yourself? Scroll down and share your thoughts and creations with us in the comments below
