Update 40 for The Elder Scrolls Online brings the endless archive

The Elder Scrolls Online welcomes Update 40, available now for PC/Mac. This free update not only brings improvements to the base game, but also a brand new PVE challenge – the Endless Archive. Xbox and PlayStation players will receive the update on November 14.

The Endless Archive is a captivating PVE challengeavailable to all ESO players. In this unique dungeon-like experience, players explore dynamic, zrandomly generated sections populated by monsters and bosses  Players can choose to tackle this challenge alone or in teams with other adventurers. The Endless Archive consists of five cycles, each consisting of two sections and a boss fight. Once a cycle is completed, the challenge begins again, but with an increased level of difficulty. Progressing players can unlock unique rewards, including collectibles, a mount, a companion, cosmetic items and new class sets.

In addition to this exciting new PVE challenge, Update 40 also introduces a new party finder that allows players to find groups for various activities. This search feature offers advanced settings, including selection by champion points, use of in-game voice chat, preferred play style, and desired role composition of the group. The update also introduces Grandmaster Crafting Tables, which allow players to combine all specialized crafting tables in their home into a single item. Other adjustments and improvements, including a rework of jewelry crafting and the standardization of quest rewards, are also part of the update.
