What goes around comes around! After years of deliberation and countless talks, Karmine Corp has finally succeeded in making the leap to the highest division of the EMEA region in League of Legends. In return, fans will have to say goodbye to Astralis.
With Karmine Corp, the next team has been promoted to the LEC after Koi and Team Heretics. The French eSports organization will take over the league slot from Astralis at the start of the upcoming Winter Split, which in turn will withdraw from League of Legends entirely. Derby fans in particular may be pleased about the new league addition. In the LFL, the French local league, the duels between Kcorp and the Vitality Bees already caused heated tempers, in the run-up to which the most diverse fan groups created a good atmosphere.
This enthusiasm should now be transferred from Paris to Berlin when Vitality and Karmine Corp meet in the LEC in the future.

One of the best teams in Europe
Although the LEC is the highest League of Legends division in Europe and the Mena region, Karmine Corp. has already had some international success. To date, the eSports organization has competed in the LFL, qualifying for and winning EMEA Masters four times – a record to date
It remains to be seen whether the French will start the LEC with the existing roster. Currently, Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet and Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé are among others in the lineup of KCorp. As Riot Games previously announced, Karmine Corp will continue to compete in the LFL alongside the LEC and will be fielding a new Academy team.
